Attabad Lake: The lake is also known as Gojal Lake which was formed in result of land sliding in 2010, After that the beautiful blue color water in between the huge mountains is now attracting the tourist from all over the world and each year thousands of local and international tourists visit this beautiful lake.

The lake is covering the area of 21 kilometer and the depth is 358 feet’s and volume of water is 330,000 acre feet’s and the water passing through the lakes is coming from the glaciers so we don’t recommend you to swim in the lake which can be risky.

Satpara lake: Satpara lakes is another most beautiful lake in Skardu the length of the lake is 3.5 kilometer and the width is 1.4 kilometer three sides of the lakes is covered by the huge mountains which gives you a very beautiful look. The melting ice from Deosai Plains provides water to this beautiful lake from different water channels. Also, this lake is the source of water to Skardu Valley.

Sheosar Lake: The Sheosar lake is also one of the famous lake for international tourist and to visit this beautiful lake you have to take a long drive from Skardu there are two ways to reach this beautiful lake situated in Deosai plains the one is from Skardu and the other is from Astor. The length of the lake is 2.3 kilometers and the width is 1.8 kilometer the average depth is 40 meters and the surface elevation of this lake is 4,142 meters. The most unique thing about this lakes is that you will found 400 different types of flowers around the lake.

Rush Lake: The name of rush lake is in 25th world heights lakes in the world, The Rush lake is situated near the Rush Pari Peak at the altitude of 5,098 meters which makes its ranking in world highest alpine lakes, the Rush Lake located in Nagar Valley and you can reach to the lake by following the route through Nagar and Phuparash peaks, The unique thing which makes this lake more attractive is the trek route through the destination which covers the most scenic peak view of Spantik, Malubiting, Miar Peak, Phuparash Peak and Ultar Sar which makes it more attractive to visit.

Kachura Lake: The Kachura lakes are two lakes which are located ate the elevation of 2,500 meter these lakes were known by the upper kachura and lower kachura lakes and also known as the Shangrila lake the average depth of the lake is 70 meters.

Naltar Lakes: The Naltar valley has three beautiful lakes which are known as Bashkiri Lakes at the elevation of 3050–3150 meters the route to reach the first Bashkiri lake takes 12 kilometers jeep ride to reach the lakes also during the snowfall season it is impossible to reach the lake due to heavy snowfall and the road track to reach the lake is unpaved dusty jeep track so whenever you visit be careful from land sliding and we recommend you to don’t visit in snowfall season there are more chances that your jeep will stuck in ice.

Rama Lake: The Rama lake is located near Astor at the elevation of 3300 meters, The Rama Lake is very unique lake by its nature three sides of the lake is covered with thickly forested with huge pine, cedar, fir and juniper trees and the other side is covered with huge mountains of Rama Meadows. Due to the altitude almost 8 months round the year the Rama Lakes remains frozen and the area around is also remains covered with snowfall.

Borith Lake: The Borith lakes is located at the elevation of 2,600 meters in Gulmit, Hunza Valley the length of the Borith lake is 2 kilometers, you can reach the lake by following the unpaved jeep route from Husseini Village by the jeep and by trek you have to pass through the Ghuylkin Glacier which takes 2-3 hours trekking route directly from Ghuykin.

Khalti Lake: The Khalti lake is located at the elevation of 2,217 meter is most western side of Gilgit Baltistan in Khaltif Village Thesil Punial of District Gizer the Khalti lake is the source of fresh water and a huge stock of trout fish. Each year these trout’s fishes increases and moves to lower Gupis Valley through different water canals.

Kutwal Lake: 

The Kutwal lake is another high altitude lake in Gigit Baltistans most beautiful valley, Haramosh the most famous travel authors have written the fantasies based stories on the nature of this beautiful valley, to reach this beautiful valley you have to trek pass through the glaciers and it will takes approximately one day time to reach this beautiful valley in between the huge Harmosh Peak, Laila Peak and Dobani Peak the lake is in the center of The peaks with lush green trees and the one side of the mountain is hill facing.

The potters and guides are must to reach this valley because the trek of Haramosh is tough and a normal person needs some extra effort to reach the lake.

Karambar Lake: The Karamabar Lake is also one of the highest altitude lake in Ishkomen the most western district Gizer in Gilgit Baltistan the name of this lake is on 31st highest altitude lakes in the world and Karambar Lake is the second highest lake in Pakistan the altitude is 4,304 meters and average length of the lake is 3.8 kilometers and the width is 2 kilometers, the average depth of the lake is 52 meters.

Phander Lake: The Phander Lake is another one of the most beautiful lake in Gizar Valley Gilgit Baltistan this lake is another source of fresh water and trout fish 2 sides of the lake is covered with huge mountains the max length of the lake is 900 meter and the width is 460 meters, and the average depth is 40 feet’s.

Zharba Lake: The Zharba Tso is also known as blind lake situated in Shigar Valley Skardu District of Gilgit Baltistan, The lake is the source of water which feeds to indus river and the Shigar Valle is also used this water. The maximum length is 1.4 kilometers and the width is 260 meters.

Khukush Langar (Baha) Lake: The Baha lake is situated a the most western Northern Area of Pakistan in Kohe Gizar Valley the district of Gilgit Baltistan. The Baha Lake is located at the elevation of 3,622 meters the lake is full of trout fish and fresh water coming from glaciers, the max length of the lake is 5 kilometer and the width is 0.754 kilometers, the average depth of the lake is 240 feets.

Handarap Lake: The Handarap Lake is also situated in the western part of Gilgit Baltistan in Shandur Valley the  lake is located at the elevation of 3285 meters above sea level the max length of the lake is 1 kilometer and the width is 0.754 kilometers the average depth of the lake is 90 feets.

Lake Kharfak: The Kharfak Lake is another high-altitude lake in Kharfak Baltistan its 2 kilometers away from Kharfak Village the max length of the lake is 837 meters and the width is 468 meters.
