The water crises can be considered as a one of the main nation level issue in Pakistan, if we go through some years back in 2009 the water level in Dams and Rivers was good and every thing was fine running even the peoples were also farming across the Indus river.
The water of the glaciers also falls in Indus river by different channels and this water was used by the different regions in Pakistan. But after 2009 the huge number of illegal cutting of the trees has changed the weather and rain fall has controlled this season very low as compare to before.
This situation has created a water issue in dams and also the Indus river starts drying from the sides and the water level starts decreases other side according to water policy the Indian government has started and illegal activity to provide water to Pakistani rivers that is also a reason of water crises in Pakistan.
During the last 2 seasons in 2016 and 2017 the dams and rivers waters decreases till the end level and strong water crises started in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan and Karachi and many other cities in Pakistan.
The chief justice of Pakistan decided to start the two new projects of dams to control the water level and to use it in survival of daily life. Diamer Bhasha and Mohmand Dams are two new projects which counter the water crises in Pakistan.
The dams will help in storage of pure water that can be use or to drink and it will help the survival but at the position where the country is standing under huge loans the funds are not enough for government to invest on this project.
So the new government, officials and authorities are appealing the nation to contribute in Dams fund and already a huge amount is collected which helps in making these two dams.
